Finding the right listing
Start at the listings page. You can filter by city, price, beds, baths, and property type, or switch to the map and draw the exact area you want to live in. Every neighborhood detail that matters to our community is searchable — walking distance to shul, schools and mikvah nearby.
Every listing on Homes District is reviewed by a real person before it goes live. That means no duplicate spam, no fake prices, and no listings that were rented out three weeks ago.
Messaging the seller
Found something? Press "Message seller" on the listing page. You will need a free account with a verified email — that one step keeps the inbox spam out.
For privacy, phone numbers stay hidden until both sides have exchanged at least two messages each. Once a real conversation is going, numbers unlock and you can move to a phone call. Your email address is never shown to the other side.
What about negotiating?
Direct messaging means direct negotiating. Ask about the roof, the boiler, the tenants, the flexibility on price — and get answers from the person who actually knows. When you reach agreement, you bring in your own lawyer for contracts and closing, the same way you would with any deal.
Run the numbers before you commit. The mortgage calculator shows the real monthly payment with taxes and insurance included, so there are no surprises at the bank.
What Homes District charges you
Nothing. Browsing is free, messaging is free, and listing is free — always. There is no commission because there is no middleman to pay.
